1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any paid quiz on QuizArena. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally eligible to participate in skill-based games in your state.

Residents of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, and Odisha are NOT eligible for paid quizzes, in compliance with local state laws. Free quizzes are available to all.

2. Game of Skill

QuizArena is a 100% skill-based platform. Winners are determined by their knowledge, accuracy, and speed — not by chance or luck. The outcome is based on measurable criteria (score and time taken), making it a game of skill under Indian law.

3. Registration & Account

Each mobile number may only be registered once. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent ban and forfeiture of all winnings.

4. Entry Fees & Payments

Entry fees for paid quizzes are non-refundable once the quiz has started. Payment can be made via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) or manual UPI transfer. Manual payments require admin verification (up to 2 hours) before entry is granted.

5. Prize Pool & Payouts

Prize pools are fixed and displayed upfront on each quiz page. Winners receive prize money directly to their registered UPI ID within 48 hours of the quiz closing and winner declaration.

• Maximum prize per quiz: ₹5,000
• Prize distribution: As shown on each quiz page
• Payout method: Direct UPI transfer only
• UPI ID responsibility: Ensure your UPI ID in profile is correct — wrong UPI = failed transfer

6. Tax Deduction (TDS)

As per Indian Income Tax Act, TDS of 30% is applicable on net winnings above ₹10,000 in a financial year. QuizArena will deduct applicable TDS before releasing prize amounts exceeding this threshold. Winners are responsible for filing their own income tax returns.

7. Fair Play Policy

The following actions will result in immediate disqualification, permanent account ban, and forfeiture of all winnings:

• Switching browser tabs during the quiz (auto-submit after 3 warnings)
• Using automation tools, bots, scripts, or any unfair means
• Sharing quiz questions or answers with others during the quiz
• Using VPN to bypass geographic restrictions
• Submitting false UPI IDs or transaction IDs
• Creating multiple accounts
• Collusion with other players

8. Account Ban Policy

QuizArena reserves the right to ban any account found violating these terms. Banned accounts:

• Cannot create new accounts using same mobile number
• Forfeit all pending prizes and entry fees
• Are permanently blocked from the platform

Ban decisions are final. Appeals can be made via WhatsApp within 48 hours of ban.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute regarding scores, payments, or winners must be raised within 48 hours of quiz closure by contacting us via WhatsApp. Our team will investigate and respond within 48 hours. Our decision on disputes is final and binding.

For payment disputes, share your transaction ID and relevant screenshots. Disputes raised after 48 hours will not be entertained.

10. Platform Rules

• QuizArena reserves the right to cancel any quiz and issue full refunds
• Quiz questions are final — no changes after quiz starts
• In case of technical failure on our end, users get re-attempt or refund
• Winners are selected based on score (highest), then time taken (lowest), then random draw for ties

11. Responsible Gaming

QuizArena promotes responsible gaming. Do not participate with money you cannot afford to lose. Quiz gaming should be for entertainment. If you feel you have a gaming problem, please seek professional help and self-exclude by contacting us.

12. Amendments

QuizArena reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time with 7 days notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
